You’re an experienced treasurer with significant skills in treasury management and setting financial controls, and the depth of expertise to take on one of the biggest career challenges you’ll ever face.
It involves joining the largest UK-owned airport operator, supporting our Manchester, East Midlands, Bournemouth (soon to be) Stansted airports, and helping to keep almost 42 million passengers on the move to 225 global destinations every year.
We also contribute £3.2bn to the UK economy, support the employment of over 130,000 people, and operate a £335 million portfolio of over 200 properties that serve more than 850 companies. Then there’s "AirportCity" - the exciting £650m mixed use development at Manchester Airport that we’re working hard to drive forward right now.
It’s all part of our continuing - and rapid - growth, which means the opportunity to make an impact is huge. Essentially, you’ll be responsible for ensuring full compliance with our Treasury Policy, for supporting on M&A activity, and for managing financial risk and cash flow across the Group.
Day to day, you’ll work alongside the Chief Finance Officer, Corporate Finance Director and other senior members of the Corporate Finance Team to deliver a range of financial projects and ventures, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of relevant process and policies.
You’ll also liaise closely with bankers and investors to build and nurture positive working relationships, so you’ll need to combine a confident and credible approach with relevant qualifications such as an MCT Diploma in Treasury.
Treasury and budget experience in a similar corporate environment is vital, and you’ll be a natural and dynamic leader with the vision to inspire success in your team and deliver results in a unique working environment where there are no limits to what you can achieve.
