As a key member of the Executive team you will lead an international team across three continents, providing first class internal audit advice and support to the business.
You will develop a well-aligned internal audit strategy that matches the Group’s strategic plans and organizational culture; directing comprehensive thematic annual audit plans that have the right balance between assurance and advisory.
Your experience and insight will enable you employ innovation throughout the audit cycle, embedding data analytics and self assessment into the audit plans to help guide risk assessment, drive enterprise efficiencies and results; and consideration of co-sourcing as part of internal audit strategy.
You will be responsible for ensuring the company stays ahead of risk and control best practice and regulatory developments and that necessary external expertise is provided cost effectively.
You will be educated to degree standard with an appropriate accountancy or audit professional qualification.
You must possess substantial post qualification international corporate experience.
Your excellent communication skills and business acumen will enable you to influence challenging senior internal colleagues and demanding external parties. It goes without saying that you must be able to multi task and meet tight deadlines, undertake occasional international travel and be prepared to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
