Challenging work
At Aldermore we value expertise. Now we need your experience and skills to drive an ambitious change agenda. Reporting straight to the Group Operations Director and responsible for a substantial operating division, you'll be a key member of the bank's broader operational leadership team and will work closely with your unit's MD to achieve some challenging and high profile objectives.
Responsible for 120 full time employees, handling a range of operational activities across the business unit's core commercial lending activity, you'll develop and report on the operational governance framework, leading on-going business-wide controls assessments. Helping drive forward robust remedial action plans to develop and implement a LEAN operating model, you'll set objectives and strategies, whilst embedding a customer focused culture and approach in all operating activities.

To make the necessary impact you'll need significant operational leadership experience within Financial Services including substantial organisational change, ideally in a corporate or commercial banking environment.
An articulate communicator, resourceful and analytical problem solver, strategic thinker and inspirational leader, you must have a flair for turning concepts into effective processes that deliver higher performance. Six Sigma experience will be essential.
