Ensuring the cost-effectiveness and scalability of solutions, you'll agree migration plans, keeping the CIO and Senior Leadership informed of future trends in technology and industry, whilst translating architecture into pragmatic standards that the Design Authority can realise, champion and turn into business aligned, quality assured solutions.
You will need to be resilient under pressure and consultative in your approach whilst retaining clear focus on delivery, your energy and drive will ensure you succeed.
Championing careers
You will be challenged and inspired by the opportunities this role offers and to succeed in it you will need to have proven experience of setting and implementing a forward architecture and IT strategy for a banking organisation. This will include the core activities of banking transaction and savings operations, commercial finance and mortgages and other asset product classes.
You will have successfully developed and implemented future state road maps for a regulated banking entity. First in class knowledge of banking technology and the industry capability and contacts to ensure successful strategic partnerships are developed and maintained will be critical. This is a complex business with many facets, being fully aware of total costs of ownership and how to manage them efficiently will also be key.
