- ACA/ACCA qualified
- The ideal candidate would have extensive post qualified experience (this is given for guidance only and all suitably qualified candidates would be considered)
- Previous quoted company experience
- Proven team manager
- Systems literate with good understanding of financial and other systems
- Good understanding of IFRS
- Self-starter with well-developed analytical skills
- Must have the confidence to challenge and be challenged
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Strong IT skills

- Line management of Accounts & Finance team consisting of 15 personnel
- Production/review of monthly management accounts including commentary and KPI analysis
- Annual group budgets
- On-going forecasts and year end outturn position
- Production/review of annual statutory accounts of group companies
- Audit relationship and development of accounting policies
- Banking relationship and covenant compliance
- Treasury and working capital management
- Assistance with the provision of information for investors and analysts
- Management of corporation tax returns and liabilities, R&D claims
- Review and development of accounting systems
- Acquisition work including due diligence, negotiation and integration
- Development of risk management and internal control systems/policies
- Other ad hoc projects
