Aldwyck Housing Group, based in Bedfordshire, is a successful and dynamic property group with assets in excess of £650m. We manage over 11,000 homes with a turnover in excess of £50m and supply a wide variety of services to other organisations including development, maintenance, housing management and finance.
This is an exciting time to join Aldwyck as it continues to grow and diversify its services, supporting a new build development programme of 750 units over the next three years.
As a qualified accountant you will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 20 staff, with accountability for processing, management accounts and treasury teams, including year-end financial statements. You will also be a key player in driving business growth, strategy and value for money initiatives.
You will be expected to work closely with our rapidly growing maintenance business Connect Property Services and our development subsidiaries Lea Valley Homes and Lea Valley Developments.
Social Housing experience is not a pre-requisite and we are keen to explore experience from other commercial sectors with transferable skills. We will be interested in your ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with colleagues, stakeholders and outside clients and develop a finance function that is customer-facing and responsive to the needs of an ambitious organisation.
